Professional WordPress Management
$149/month
A proper management plan for websites that matter to your business. Staging-tested updates, encrypted backups, stronger security, and ongoing reporting — without the complexity of enterprise-level service.
Best for small businesses, service firms, brochure sites, and growing companies that want their WordPress site managed properly.
Who Professional WordPress Management Is For
Professional is the right fit when your website is important to your business, but you don’t need the heavier performance or advanced security features of our higher-tier plans.
This plan is designed for organisations that want more than “basic maintenance” and need a proper management process in place.
This typically includes:
- Small and medium businesses
- Professional services firms
- Company brochure websites
- Service-based businesses
- Growing organisations with lead-generation websites
- Businesses that want staging-tested updates and stronger security
- Sites where downtime or breakage would be disruptive, even if not catastrophic
If your website directly drives significant revenue, runs WooCommerce, or needs active performance optimisation, Business may be the better fit. If your site handles sensitive data or needs stronger monitoring and incident response, Premium is likely more appropriate.
What's Included in Professional
Staging-Tested Plugin, Theme & Core Updates
Every WordPress core, plugin, and theme update is tested in a staging environment before it reaches your live site. That means we don’t update your production site first and hope nothing breaks.
This reduces the risk of layout issues, broken forms, plugin conflicts, and unexpected downtime. Updates follow a weekly managed cycle with staging-first deployment, controlled release to your live site, and rollback capability if something goes wrong. Critical security patches are handled urgently outside the regular schedule.
Daily Encrypted Offsite Backups
Your website and database are backed up every day and stored independently of your hosting provider. Backups are encrypted in transit and at rest, giving you a clean recovery path if anything goes wrong. Storage is redundant, and the recovery process is documented and tested. Restore target for this plan: Within 12 hours.
Security Hardening & Monitoring
Professional includes a stronger security posture than entry-level maintenance plans. We configure Web Application Firewall protection, apply WordPress hardening measures (file permissions, admin area protection, XML-RPC hardening), monitor for malware, track security events, and protect against brute force attacks and common exploit attempts.
This is designed to protect a healthy WordPress site against the most common real-world threats.
60-Second Uptime Monitoring
Your site is checked every 60 seconds using external monitoring independent of your hosting provider. If it becomes unreachable, we’re alerted immediately and begin investigating root causes, coordinating with your hosting provider where needed. Monthly uptime reports give you visibility into performance trends.
You should not be the first person to discover your website is down.
Monthly Management Reporting
Every month, you receive a detailed report showing what we updated, what we monitored, what issues were detected, and what recommendations we have for your site.
This is not a generic auto-generated summary. It is a structured management report covering updates applied, backup status, uptime performance, security events, premium licence issues (if any), and actionable recommendations for your site’s health.
Up to 15 minutes of content updates per month
Professional includes up to 15 minutes of content updates each month – small, clearly defined changes like updating text or images, adjusting contact details, publishing a blog post (with your content), updating form fields, or making layout adjustments within your existing design.
Typical edits take 3–5 minutes. Unused time does not roll over.
This does not include new page builds, redesigns, new functionality, or custom development.
Email & Live Chat Support
Support is available through documented channels so every request is tracked properly. You can reach us via email or live chat with a 48-hour response SLA, ensuring a clear communication trail. You’ll always know what was requested, what was done, and what’s still pending.
What Professional Does Not Include
Professional is a strong management plan, but it does not include the deeper optimisation and advanced security features available on Business and Premium.
Not included in Professional:
- speed and performance optimisation
- Core Web Vitals tuning
- CDN setup and management
- database optimisation
- SEO health monitoring
- visual regression testing
- file integrity monitoring
- security headers
- plugin vetting against vulnerability databases
- user access audits
- incident response reporting
- WooCommerce support
- dedicated account manager
If you need those capabilities, compare Business and Premium.
Important Notes Before You Start
Your Site Still Needs to Meet Baseline Standards
Professional is designed to maintain a healthy WordPress site. If your site is significantly outdated, compromised, using pirated software, or running on weak infrastructure, it may need remediation before management can begin properly.
If that’s the case, we’ll tell you during your assessment and recommend the right path.
Premium Software Licences Stay With You
If your site uses paid themes or plugins, you remain responsible for those licences. We can only apply updates where valid licence keys, marketplace access, or updated files are available.
If a licence is expired, we’ll notify you and flag it in your monthly report.
Professional Prioritises Protection and Stability
Professional is built to keep your website secure, updated, and running properly.
If your goal is to improve rankings, speed, conversions, or user experience in a more active way, Business is the better fit because it includes performance optimisation and SEO-related monitoring.
Should You Choose Professional or Business?
Professional is ideal when you want your website properly maintained and protected.
Business is the better option when your website plays a more active role in generating leads, sales, or search visibility.
